Cricket, football, basketball (NBA, WNBA, NCAA), American football (NFL, college), hockey, baseball, rugby, AFL, lacrosse, tennis, golf, UFC, chess, Formula 1, MotoGP, IndyCar, NASCAR, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant. Football includes the Champions League, Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Europa League, ISL, MLS and more, and you choose which ones to show. ### Which Macs does it run on? Any Mac on macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Notch mode is at its best on a MacBook with a notch; on other screens it shows as a small pill at the top. ### How live is live? While a sport has a live match, or one starting within 15 minutes, it refreshes every 30 seconds. Otherwise every 5 minutes. Opening the dropdown refreshes everything straight away. ### Will it slow down my Mac or drain my battery? No. The dropdown's views only exist while it's open, and live dots are animated by Core Animation, so ScoresMac sits near 0% CPU in the background. ### Can I see only my teams? Yes. Turn off the sports and leagues you don't follow in Settings › Sports, star your teams in Settings › Favorites, and turn on Show only live matches in General if you want a short list. ### What is notch mode? In Settings › General › Display you can show the live score in the menu bar, at the notch, or both. At the notch it's a black panel that blends into the MacBook notch, with each team's logo and score on its side. Goals, wickets, touchdowns, new race leaders and winners play there as short animations. Click it to expand into the full match card. Notch mode is part of ScoresMac Pro. ### Does ScoresMac collect any data? The app doesn't. There's no account, no analytics and no tracking. It goes online to fetch scores, to look for updates and, if you have Pro, to check your license every few days. ### Is ScoresMac free? Yes. The menu bar app is free for good: every sport and league, the dropdown, the pinned match card, favourites, filters and alerts, with no trial, no ads and no account. ScoresMac Pro unlocks notch mode for $9.99 once. ### What does ScoresMac Pro add? Notch mode: the live score around your MacBook's notch, GOAL!, WICKET!, TOUCHDOWN! and NEW LEADER moments, the full-time curtain with the winner and confetti, and the full match card when you click the notch. Everything else is in the free app. ### Can I try notch mode before buying? Yes, right on this page: the notch section plays the same moments as the app. Press GOAL!, WICKET! or Full time, or click the notch to open the match card. ### Is Pro a subscription? No. You pay once and Pro is yours for life, including every future update and version. ### How do updates work? ScoresMac checks for new versions and installs them when you restart it. Every update is free. ## Live cricket scores, right in your Mac's menu bar Pin a match and the score sits next to the clock, like IND 183/4 · 212/6. Open it for the full card, with the chase in plain words. ### The chase, in plain words The pinned card shows both innings, the overs and the situation as a sentence, like “India need 30 runs from 10 balls”. Numbers roll when they change, so a boundary catches your eye. The innings scorecard lists the batters with runs, balls, fours and sixes, and tags the two at the crease as BATTING. ### Wickets and milestones at the notch In notch mode (ScoresMac Pro) a cricket ball flies in for WICKET!, and the team's 100 UP and 200 UP pop up the same way. When the match ends, the menu bar lights up in the winner's colour with the margin. ### Internationals and domestic cricket ScoresMac shows the competitions that are on right now, from internationals to domestic tournaments like the Ranji Trophy. Turn off the ones you don't follow in Settings › Sports. ### How often does the cricket score update? Every 30 seconds while a match is live, or starting within 15 minutes, and straight away when you open the dropdown. ### Can I keep only one match in the menu bar? Yes. Pin it. The menu bar shows the live pin, and the pin clears itself at the end of match day. ### Does it show T20, ODI and Test matches? It shows whatever its cricket feed lists as on now, including internationals and domestic competitions. ## Live football scores on your Mac, without a browser tab Every league you follow in one free menu bar app. With Pro, when your team scores, a ball rolls in at the notch and GOAL! pops up with the scorer. ### The leagues you follow Champions League, Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Europa League, ISL, MLS and the World Cup, plus more you can turn on, like the Championship, Eredivisie, Saudi Pro League and Copa Libertadores. ### Scorers and red cards The match card lists the goal scorers under each team with the minute, marks penalties (P) and own goals (OG), and shows red cards. ### Your team first Star a team in Settings › Favorites and its matches sit at the top with a gold star. You get a notification at kick-off and another with the result. ### Which football leagues does ScoresMac cover? Champions League, Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Europa League, ISL, MLS and the FIFA World Cup by default, with more you can switch on. ### Does it show who scored? Yes. The card shows each goal scorer with the minute, penalties and own goals, plus red cards. The GOAL! moment at the notch shows the scorer too. ### Will it notify me about my team? Yes. Favourite and pinned matches send a notification when they start and when they finish. ## F1 live timing, from your Mac's menu bar The race weekend at a glance: a podium in team colours, the order with gaps, and every session with its start time in your time zone. ### A timing tower for the menu bar The card shows the top three on a podium in team colours, then the running order with the gap to the leader, expandable to the top 10. ### The whole weekend Practice, qualifying, sprint and race appear as a strip, with what's done, what's live and what's next, and a countdown to the next session. ### MotoGP, IndyCar and NASCAR too MotoGP shows the current or latest session across MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. With Pro, when the lead changes in any race, a chequered flag waves at the notch with NEW LEADER. ### Are session times in my time zone? Yes. Every session shows its start time in your Mac's time zone. ### Which series are covered? Formula 1, MotoGP (with Moto2 and Moto3), IndyCar and NASCAR. Turn each on in Settings › Sports. ### What does it show between race weekends? When the next weekend starts, and a countdown to its first session. ## CS2, Valorant and LoL scores in your Mac's menu bar Live series with the map being played and the round score, results from the last day and a half, and what's on in the next three days. ### Every map, at a glance The card shows each map in the series with its round score and a bar for who took it, so a Bo3 reads like “Inferno 13–9 · Ancient live · Dust II”. ### A flash for every map won When a team takes a map or a game, the menu bar lights up briefly in their colour, and a finished series gets the full winner flash. ### The tournaments that matter CS2 shows tier 1 and 2 tournaments: majors, S-tier and A-tier events. Matches are grouped by tournament or league. ### Which esports does ScoresMac cover? Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, League of Legends and Dota 2. ### Does it show live round scores? It shows each finished map's round score, and live round-by-round scores where its feed has live coverage. ### Can I get notified when a series ends? Yes, for pinned and favourite matches. ## Your MacBook notch, as a live scoreboard Notch mode is ScoresMac Pro: the score wraps around the notch, home logo and score on the left, away on the right, and moments play right there. The menu bar app stays free. ### A moment for every sport A football rolls in for GOAL!, a cricket ball flies in for WICKET!, a football spins in for TOUCHDOWN!, a puck slides in for an ice hockey goal and a chequered flag waves for a new race leader. Esports map wins get a quick pop. Each moment uses the same score style and logos as the match card, so the notch and the dropdown read as one. ### Full time, with confetti When a match ends the notch drops down like a curtain with the winner's banner, and confetti falls inside it. ### Click for the card, ignore it otherwise Click the notch to expand it into the full match card. Hovering does nothing, so it never wakes up while you use the menu bar. On screens without a notch it becomes a small pill. ### Is notch mode free? Notch mode is part of ScoresMac Pro. Everything in the menu bar is free, and you can try the notch on scoresmac.com before buying. ### How do I turn on notch mode? Get ScoresMac Pro, then go to Settings › General › Display and choose Notch or Both. ### Does it work without a notch? Yes. On other screens the score shows as a small pill at the top centre. ### Can I preview the animations? Yes. Right-click a match and choose Test Animations. Support: support@scoresmac.com
