NBA, WNBA and college basketball

Basketball in ScoresMac covers:

  • The NBA
  • The WNBA
  • NCAA men's basketball
  • NCAA women's basketball

The quarter and the clock

The card shows both teams with their logos and the score, plus the quarter and the time left. Games are grouped by league in the dropdown with live ones first, and yesterday's finals and tomorrow's tip-offs are there too.

Built for a sport with a lot of scoring

A basketball game has dozens of baskets, so ScoresMac doesn't flash or chime for each one. The score simply rolls as it changes. What it does mark is the result: when the game ends, the winner's colour fills the menu bar with a trophy, and with ScoresMac Pro the notch drops its full-time curtain with confetti.

Your team first

Star your team in Settings › Favorites; every NBA team is in the directory. Its games come first with a gold star, and with Match alerts on you get a notification 5 minutes before tip-off, when the game starts and with the final score.

Questions

Does ScoresMac show live NBA scores?+

Yes, with the quarter and game clock, updated every 30 seconds while a game is live.

Does it cover the WNBA and college basketball?+

Yes: the WNBA and NCAA men's and women's basketball as well as the NBA.

Will it flash for every basket?+

No, on purpose. Basketball has too many scores for that, so ScoresMac marks the final result instead, plus tip-off and final alerts for your teams.

Is it free?+

Yes. Only the notch animations are part of ScoresMac Pro.
